Did you know WE MOVED!? That's right - we're no longer working out of my home office and have moved to an incredible new office suite on 28th Street in Cascade, MI. I started the process of looking for an office back in February, and moved into my new office on May 1st. It's kind of a fun coincidence being that it was our 2 year anniversary, and it's been quite the process! Naturally, I picked a space that I could make my own and leave my mark on. It wouldn't be quite the same to move into a 'move-in-ready' space! 

When I first stumbled upon the new Fuchsia Design office, it was in rough shape. The building was well maintained, but incredibly outdated. Oak trim. Drop ceiling. Commercial carpet. Cream stained walls. Those things don't necessarily scream FUCHSIA DESIGN, so we did a major overhaul. First, the drop ceiling had to come down, the entire place had to be sprayed white (ceiling, walls, trim, and doors), and all new lighting was selected and installed. It's made a huge difference! Check out the fun progression of photos below for before, during, and after photos. We LOVE our new space, and it has been wonderful for client meetings, networking gatherings, and every day work. The location is wonderful and the layout is great too! There are five rooms - a sitting room, conference room, intern office (future design assistance office!), my office, and resource library.
